Rockingham Back in Action

NCR had a test day ($125! cheap!) at Rockingham yesterday. Facility is in great shape. Got the oval thing going, but not as scary as Charlotte. Infield was actually kind of fun. Two weird radius corners, and a funny little jig to get back onto the banking. I liked it.

I understand we will have a restricted regional and school there next year, and possibly SARRCs, etc. the following. Great to have another track back on line, and it is fun. Screaming into the banking in turn 1 at 100+ mph is pretty cool.

That's great to here is was a good time. I wanted to go but the car is not ready and my plate is full ay this time.

We need more tracks coming online to make up for the loss of Barber, LaborDay at Road Atlanta, AMS and no workers, etc. I just wish that track was a little easier to get to from Atlanta.

I wonder if Darlington would be interested in hosting an SCCA race?
