Drive The Thunder Road – Watkins Glen
On September 19 and 20, NASA Northeast, along with Driving Impressions, Partsquest.com and Raceshopper.com will be hosting a two-day High Performance Driving Event (HPDE) at world-famous Watkins Glen International Raceway in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of New York. Come up on Saturday and make a weekend of it. Tour the local vineyards or visit one of the many waterfalls in the area, besides driving fast, there are plenty of other things to do in the area.
Although this is not a race, this may be a great opportunity to test and tune, or shake down your race car before that big race!!
Watkins Glen is the ultimate track experience in the northeast. With admission just $200 per day or a discounted $350 for both days you can’t afford not to go! As always, instructors run for free. There will be a prize raffle on Sunday with many valuable prizes and gift certificates provided by Driving Impressions (teamdi.com), RacerPartsWholesale.com, Partsquest.com, Raceshopper.com and others.
NASA Northeast will also be raffling off a free track day to Lime Rock Park. Raffle tickets are free with your entry!

The Glen has hosted a wide variety of racing competition including Formula One, Can-Am, Trans-Am, NASCAR and Indy cars. The Victory Circle at Watkins Glen has seen many of the top names in international motorsports. You too can drive on the track that created legends. See you there!
