Just a heads up I've been chasing a 1/2 gear hub sleeve for a rebuild in a 2nd gen tranny. It is no longer available from Mazda and the cost of a new mold has been determined to be non-commercial. The 1.6 Miata uses the same sleeve and has the same issue but they have a work around that uses the 1.8 by changing the full gear set. Mazda was not sure if the 1/2 gear set for the Miata 1.8 would work on the rx7 but asked that we let them know if it does...
