So first of all I don't exect IT guys to know what a Blog is. Afterall I didn't until recently....so:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blog

Secondly do you think there's a place on IT.com for such things?
Here are some examples of user blog on other sites:

I dunno.......

I spend enough...errr...too much? time on the net...

Of course, idon't have to read them, LOL.

So sure, if you want, but make sure it doesn't cost storage space better suited to the main goal of the BBS...info exchange in the form of words, and now, pictures...

Depends.

If you make some of the new RSS technology available with a blog it could be very valuable for those who want to follow a specific subject. For example, let's say someone starts a blog about the installation of their new DA system. Everyone else who is interested could subscribe and be informed whenever an update was made.

Blogs that are written as personal diaries are boring, but I think the RSS combo could work. Worth a try if you have time and interest. You can alway pull it later.

I agree with Gregg. Personal blogs are BORING. Just make sure that it's a racing blog and that they pertain to Racing directly. I've been bloging all of my cage work for the last year or so.

Wow I neve imagined somebody writting a personal Blog on our website.
I'd delete that in a second :bash_1_:
I would only want people to write about their race weekends, building a car, etc.

That would be pretty cool. I was planning to just use a little project php I wrote to post update notes to post all the fun and cash I spent on getting my car/license/racing. But then I got lazy and that never happen.
