With the 2005 Isaac systems ready to ship we are left with a small inventory of the 2004 models, so it’s time for a clearance sale! The discount? 25%.

This discount applies to any Isaac model except the Quarter Midget version.

The differences between the 2004 and the 2005 models are small, so small in fact that you will need a micrometer to find them. The ’04 Isaac is the same one that bested all comers in crash tests, and has successfully protected drivers in real crashes-—some more than once.

Just go here to order, and note in the comments section the "IT Year End Clearance per Gregg": http://www.isaacdirect.com/html/order.html

Our web guy is out for a few days, so this offer won’t go to the general public for at least a week. I figured the IT.com A-Team may have room for a few new members. http://Forum.ImprovedTouring.com/it/smile.gif

What's the feedback on the Basic vs. Intermediate system? Are the premium pins worth $170?

Marty,

The vast majority of users choose the Intermediate model. They are much smoother to operate.

The Basic pin has spring-loaded retaining balls that require 2-7 pounds of force to release. That's not a big deal, but the lock mechanism of the other pins makes a difference if you are in and out of the car often.

All pins meet Mil Specs good to an impact of 150+ Gs, and you can swap them out later if you decide to change.

If you are on a tight budget and only go out a couple times a year, the Basic pins are a good value. If you are more active on the track, you will probably prefer the Intermediate model.

Yes, there are a few left. The sale is good while supplies last.

If any remain by the end of this week the Web guy will probably post a notice on the home page next week. It's just word of mouth so far.

Just wanted to say thanks Gregg. Mine came in last week, in plenty of time for our season opener.

Order placed! Gregg, do you mind if I cross-post the sale to another board?

Let me check with the office over lunch to see how many we have on hand (I'm out of town at the moment). Don't want to waste anyone's time.

MadFrog,

Sure, go ahead. We have a "handful."

Don't spread it around too much though, please. Otherwise we will spend all our time stamping out rumors of a secret sale, and racers will waste a lot of e-mails.

Thanks for the order and the help! We have no commissions for field sales people, but don't be surprised to find an Isaac hat in your shipment. http://Forum.ImprovedTouring.com/it/wink.gif

Gregg, a hat would be cool, but I am just glad that more racers are buying some kind of H&N support. I believe that at least three racers have ordered after seeing my post. http://Forum.ImprovedTouring.com/it/smile.gif I only posted on one board, and I think that will probably take care of whatever inventory you had left. Merry Christmas.

You're right. Thanks! We'll have to keep you in mind for a sales position. http://Forum.ImprovedTouring.com/it/wink.gif

It seems one of the machine shops we use overbuilt slightly for the 2004 model, and has components for eight systems in inventory.

We are more than happy to pass them on at the 25% discount, if anyone wants them.

Put my order in last week, just got the notice that it's shipping (I put the "IT Year End Clearance per Gregg" note on the order). Looking forward to having a little extra safety margin next season.
