In about a month we will make available a few used Isaac systems at a 50% discount. Since a lot of our "A Team" members are also IT posters, we thought we'd give you racers first shot at them.

We normally don't make a market for used product, but this is a special case of 8-10 systems that have been under the control of a single customer, a racing school. They are less than one year old. We know that none of these systems have been involved in any crashes.

Because it is a school setting, the systems are frequently moved from car to car or between the driver and passenger positions, so the school is switching to a new design that accommodates a quick release pin for the belt connector. In effect, they are trading in their old ones for new ones.

These are Intermediate Isaac systems with the dual-action pins--top pin in this photo: http://www.isaacdirect.com/images/Product/...t/Pins/Pins.JPG (http://www.isaacdirect.com/images/Product/Pins/Pins.JPG)

Half price is $457.50 + S&H + tax if applicable.

First come, first served.

Okay, we have a small administrative problem. Everyone wants the used Isaac systems--which is great--but everyone keeps sending e-mails rather than faxing in the order form.

Treat this just as you would any other order. Go here http://www.isaacdirect.com/html/order.html , download the form, fill it in and return it to us. Just note in the "Comments" section that you want the school system mentioned in the IT post.

First come, first served. Good while supplies last.

Talk about timing.

Most customers love the idea of getting a demo Isaac at a 15% discount. The problem is that we seldom have demos around, as they sell out rather quickly. Well, how about a brand new Isaac package at a 28% discount?

We are not selling it, a customer is. They are willing to relinquish their brand new, never used, still-in-the box Intermediate Isaac system at the cost of a discounted demo. They will even throw in an extra set of helmet mounts, no charge. That's a $1,060 package for only $760.75.

This is a good deal by any measure. And if you were considering an extra set of helmet mounts for friends/family/loved one for track days, or for your co-driver for enduros, it's a no brainer.

No bucks to us, we are just offering to make the contact. If you are interested, send me an e-mail ([email protected]) and I will pass it along to the seller.

Jake,

No, they are not getting the Titanium Isaac. It is an unusual personal situation; similar to last year when a customer bought a new Isaac and then decided to get out of racing due to death in the family/lost job/transferred to Mars/whatever.

They like it and want, they just don't need it.

Bummer Gregg, well, you are good man to try to help in such a situation.

I'll see if I can find a lucky buyer.

The saga continues...

There is one left--indirectly. One of the customers who bought above needs, for reasons I won't bore you with, to part company with their Isaac system. It is still in the box.

We are not a party to the transaction. The seller was concerned about us not having a waiver from the buyer, so asked if we would collect the waiver and pass along the contact info.

Here's the deal: the same intermediate Isaac system with dual-acting, push/pull pins described above, PLUS the optional adhesive for the helmet mounts.

Retail value = $975

IT guy special = $500

This is a very good offer. In fact, if you had purchase the Isaac as originaly posted and purchased the adhesive separately, you would be spending another $17.50. Fax us the waiver and we will put you in touch with the seller.

Thanks.

Hi Gregg, I think this was around hurricane time. Did you receive my waiver? If this is no longer available, please LMK if any similar offerings pop up. TIA

Eric,

We received your original fax but had trouble contacting you. In fact, I believe I posted a "Paging Eric" thread somewhere. We are sorry about the mix up.

In any event, those systems have been sold. We are also out of demo systems, which we offer at a 15% discount.

However, we will be at a track for testing this afternoon with a team that is looking to purchase multiple systems. We will hold one of these for you at the "ultra" price.

Send me an e-mail (see sig.) and we will work out the details.
