View Full Version : Bargain Shopper Purpose

OK, well, maybe I'm just in a bad mood tonight, but this has been irking me for a while.

The Bargain Shoppers section was to help fellow racers find low cost sources to commonly used parts. IT IS NOT A CLASSIFIED AD REPOSITORY!! Please keep this in mind when posting messages here. If you would like to post a classified ad, please go to http://www.improvedtouring.com/classifieds/ and post it there.

Given the last few posts, I am getting a bit irked also!

Maybe I'm a little irked too. I tried to get to the "mysterious" classified section by using your link - but it didn't work. I've also checked out the main page in "Improved Touring Forums" for a "Classified" link but don't see it there either. Maybe the reason people are posting classified ads in the wrong place is because THERE ISN"T another place to post them. Am I missing something?

Ishod. In the red bar on this page where it lists HOME, FORUMS, GALLERY, TECH CENTER, SCHEDULES, CLASSIFIEDS, NEWS, just click on the word classified and that will bring you to...you gussed it. Then in the middle of that page you can you can click on [Place a new ad here] and so on. From the home page, just click on the word classified near the bottom left of the page. Hope this helps. http://Forums.ImprovedTouring.com/it/smile.gif

In fairness, a lot of other sites have one or more discussion forums dedicated to classifieds. They aren't the passive kind of ad like the it.com classifieds provide but instead allow questions, comments, etc.

It might be a good feature to try...

Other sites also have moderators that monitor that section so that things do not get out of hand.

The top toolbar thingee hasn't been working a lot recently (it just started working again within the last 2 weeks), so I'll give you that. And, thanks for pointing out that the link didn't work (stupid spelling!). Hopefully with all that working now, this problem should go away.
