View Full Version : Best deal on Panasports? Kumhos?

I've been shopping for wheels for awhile now, and finally found a great deal on Panasports. Tell me if you can do better!

I called my local racing parts place, and they gave me the price I expected. I was talking to an ex-racer who said that Spruell has the best deals, so I got ahold of them. They quoted the list price, then said they'd give me a deal over that. After I got their price, I went down to my local Discount Tire retailer. I told them exactly what I wanted, then told them I already have great prices from somewhere else and asked them to beat them. Here's what I got:

14"x7" Panasports
list price: $220 ea.
local: $195 ea.
Spruell: $176 ea.
(plus shipping from CA)
Discount: $177 ea.
(includes shipping!)

On top of the price deal, they ordered some Kumho Ecsta V700's directly from Tire Rack and sold them to me for less than Tire Rack's price, then mounted and balanced (with tape weights and metal valve stems) for free!

If this helps anyone, great! If you have a better deal, let us know!

What is the phone number, address or web site for Spruell?

You might also want to try K-Speed (www.kspeed.com).

My friend & I have purchased about 24 wheels from Chuck Kurtz there, about $162.00 each

Hope this helps.

On the 14x7 panesports, check to make sure that they are quoting for the ultralights and not standard ones. Also, check to make sure they clear the 91 calipers? The standard ones don't (they work on the 88's) I get mine from king but they do a special cut back for extra charge on them to clear.

Check with Vick AutoSports
They usually beat Spruell.
I think my 13x7s were $162
