David Mills recently won the NASA OH/IN Nelson Ledges 200 mile event in his E2 Honda Prelude! The race started in a light drizzle. The supercharged 993 of John Beaver took off and put about a 20 second gap on the field. At lap 9 the drizzle had turned to a downpour on the back half of the track. At this point the Audi A4 of Jeff Mishtawy put his quattro power to good use putting 8 seconds per lap on the next fastest car! By lap 30 the rain had ended. The Honda of David Mills, the Del Sol of Bill Roediger, and the 240sx of Bob Speakman ran within 8 seconds of each other for the entire event (except for pit stops). In the end, tire trouble put Roediger and Speakman down a lap, and Mills took the checker having put together almost 70 laps in a row within .4 of each other. Congratulations to David Mills for keeping a strong field behind him!
