Just finishing the last couple items on the car for this weekends races and I was wondering who else might be headed down or up?

Didn't get the new motor in yet, but I'll be there with the old monster for one more shot at it... at least I have some decent tires this weekend, although I have to burn through my Victo's before I can get the 710's I've been eyeing.

As a bonus, at least the clutch isn't slipping anymore...

Ron,

Congratulations on your win on Saturday. I'm sitting here in despair Saturday evening wondering why in the hell I didn't get the motor done that I've been promising myself... but based on today's performance, I'm thinking I'll skip the ECR at Daytona and get the engine and tranny done once and for all.

Again, good to see the Fords up front, even if it wasn't mine...this time http://ITForum.ImprovedTouring.com/smile.gif

Hopefully, tomorrow will be as good as today for the Mustang contingent. (We all finished in one piece!)

Thanks Marcello,

The car was so easy to drive. It went where ever I put it. Get that motor done for the July race at Roebling and lets go!

Congrats on the win Ron!

I wish I would have had better luck with my car. I can tell you which spring rates not to use! This weekend was the most educational weekend I have ever had. When I return to the track I will once again show up with a ton of changes.

Marcello,

I can not tell you how depressing it was to watch you go by. I hope you enjoyed the show on Saturday! That was one wild ride; one I hope never to repeat.

Jim,

Remember... you put the car on the trailer the same way it came off. That IS a good weekend. Everything else beyond that is just icing on the cake. A depressing moment is spinning out of control and being hit by multiple cars. Or having your brakes catch fire and shooting off track into a wall, or... you get the idea. Just chalk up the results to "that's racing" and figure out how to do it better next time to give me a better run. I'm planning on going back in July, new engine and hopefully a better suspension to compete with Ron's setup. Now if we can pool together and make life miserable for Liera, Ronie, and the others, we'll really be having some fun!

Marcello,
I'm glad your comming in July we will be there. Roebling is my new favorite track! I didn't have anything for those guys down the strait really, but get me to turn one and watch out! Like I said I have never had so much fun in tne car than I did last weekend.
