Anyone got a couple of these 15x6 Escort GT wheels (see URL below) for cheaper than $180 a pop?

http://www.wheels-and-rims.com/cgi-bin/web...?p_prodid=14542 (http://www.wheels-and-rims.com/cgi-bin/webc.cgi/car-wheel.html?p_prodid=14542)

I've got 8 with tires on 'em right now, and another 2 in reserve. I'd like another 4 to put rains on.

Sincerely,

Don

You should be able to get a whole car for less than 4 of those. http://Forums.ImprovedTouring.com/it/wink.gif

Seriously, just keep your eyes open and they'll pop up.

Hey Don, go down to your local bone yard and you should be able to buy a whole set for about $15-20 a wheel. I have about fifteen wheels in my garage, some good, some not so good, but all of them dirt cheap. Those wheels also came on a few other cars as well. You definitely don't need to buy those wheels even if they are brand new. I sourced a set of Panasport Lights for about $50 a wheel more than that article and they are a much better wheel. Good luck

Ebay. Or, I can pick up a set tomorrow in Orlando for probably 100.00 for 4, plus shipping, should be able to get them up there for 150 or so...

100.00 a set in J/Y is fair, 125.00 would still be reasonable.

Don--Those wheels are kind of heavy too.

18 hours left. 50.00 for four of them. Nobody else has bit on them yet.

Don,

Someone in PA (on another board) has a set he's thinking of selling. Send me your email and I can put you in touch

Thanks for all the pointers folks! I figured $180 each was just a tad steep. http://Forums.ImprovedTouring.com/it/wink.gif

Don, I just bought a EGT wheel from my local junk yard for $15 and it looks brand new, not a scratch on it. It even had a Goodyear Eagle GS which looked like it had about 5k miles on it. My tire guy is going to sell it as a used tire. Pays to look around. Good luck. Jon
