Turboice-no i believe the the rods are not permitted because they are adjustable but i wonder if the threaded part could be made a permenant length to be legal...

I hadn't thought they were - but was hoping. The caster adjustment would be nice if it were a permitted part. My assumption is that even permanently affixed it wouldn't be permitted as it wouldn't be OEM equivalent. It also wouldn't be worth it to be protested and be 1mm off in the length.

Thanks for the response though, one can always hope.

Ed there is no reason I you couldn't make an offset bushing for the existing strut rod. I may have to turn some up just to try it.

Absolutely true, I have spherical but hadn't offset them. More than anything I would just like to get the caster the same on both sides. My current chasis has 8 years on it and the first 2 were with Bob Stretch so it has been pretty beat on - it actually still sets up pretty well considering. Just picked up the 240sx version of a unicorn (89 coupe w/o sunroof) to build a new race chasis - so will be looking for all sorts of ways to get the car to behave more symetrically.
