It's been a year since my last race and even though SCCA is good enough to send all of us our very own GCR, I'm just now getting wind of this year's new requirements. Just in time for this coming weekend's racing.
So, I've got an ITA 240 that I guess needs a new tow hook up front. Any and all ideas (please be specific) are greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Michael

I used some seatbelt material for mine. About a foot of material that I put two tarp grommets into each end and looped through the 2 front and 1 rear tie downs and used metric grade 10.9 bolts (I had them... SAE grade 8 are the same). Then for the fronts I drilled small holes into the plastic spoiler and used thin zip-ties to keep them from dragging.
Hope this helps

Thanks for the idea. I wish I could see a picture to get an idea of where the end sits.
And I'm leary of using the factory front hooks because I've already got one that seperated from the frame, or bent the frame.
Thanks,
Michael
