Header for 240SX...

Well, I think I may have scored a good deal on a header, but have one question...

Are there any major difference in chassis layout that would prevent a header for a '91-'94 240SX KA24DE from fitting on a '95-'98 240SX???

Darin - just a semi-educated guess, but since the chassis have different designations (S13 v S14), and knowing there are very real differences between the two (I believe track and wheelbase were increased with the S14, for example), and since Hotshot and S&S list differing part numbers for the two models (Pacesetter lists the same part number for the '91-'96 models, and nothing for the '97-'98

)I would bet they ain't gonna fit.

I guess I'll have to look at it further... I've seen the two different HotShots ('91'94 vs. '95-'98) in pictures, and the only visible difference appears to have to do with the smog tubes and their location. I'm hoping that's really the case...

Thanks,
DJ

Good News!

I contacted HotShot today, and they said that the NS3009 ('91-'94 240SX) is identical in tubing sizes/shape/fittment to the NS3010 ('95-'98 240SX). The only difference is in the placement of the O2 and smog fittings, which is fine.

So, if you find a good deal on a header for a '91-'94, and you have a '95-'98, GO FOR IT!!
