2002 hub spindle and rear axle studs

Hey guys,

Just found out that those are prone to failure under load and that they should be replaced about every 4-5 years. Any good source on where to get replacement parts?

Also, how about going with custom made stuff?

Manuel. I've been there done that. Got lucky, left stub axle snapped off while accelerating out of the pit lane at Willow Springs (Not a good track to brake a left rear axle) Check with your freindly neighborhood BMW dealer or maybe Maximillion. Make sure you get new, factory axles and hubs. Compared to the consequences. No price is too high.
