My dad just purchased a 99 M3 convertible (I know, should've went with a hardtop...) and I was wondering about suggestions for x-mas for his car. I have a budget around 2 to 300.00.
Hope this isnt the wrong place to post this, but figured you were all BMW experts...

How about a restrictor plate? That's what I'm getting for Christmas. http://Forum.ImprovedTouring.com/it/eek.gif

Seriously, check some websites like Bavarian, Turner, Active Autowerke, Bimmerworld and BMP Design just to name a few. Should be able to find something nice for the M3 at one of those places.

great, will look into the tuner shops and HPDE. I thought NASA required a roll bar with convertibles? I will look into it.

Last I heard BMW CCA doesn't allow convertibles at all, not sure about NASA.

A front strut bar would look nice and actually provide a bit more rigidity and stiffness to a convertable's front end. The car already has an x-brace and that would compliment it nicely.
