The guy that is pushing the series is in Raleigh, NC. I believe that NASA has established the class.

Any additional info on the east coast verstion of the SpecE30 thing?

I just emailed you the rules for the series. I'm not aware of anyone who is running in the series. The rules require a car to be built just for SpecE30. SpecE30 cars would be eligible for IT racing, but they would be back markers in most IT fields because of the prep rules.

Just ran a NABS (North American Bimmer Series) race last weekend in Norther CA. It was open to SpecE30 cars but from what I heard, nobody has any running yet in CA.

The idea was started here on the Right coast by Carter Hunt. He's got a yahoo group of about 200 members setup to discuss. You might want to join there:
