MARCUS! I've seen worse with a SCCA log book too. When IT started out, most still had their carpet installed. A lot was covered up back then. Cages like this, but made from DOM are FAR worse than a properly installed ERW cage. But what do I know? I've only been at this game for 53 years. Do a good job of removeing the cage and sell it to an auto-x'r. Thats all its good for. DICK.

Those look about the same as my old Rally Car's Safety Devices bolt-in cage feet.

They actually worked well and were battle "tested", so I would not be worried.

They can always be improved with more plating.

If you have to use that cage, box them in and weld them solid and you should be ok. Weld the cage pads to the chassis pads and get rid of the bolt in feature.
