I saw a backing plate that was fitted with a duct fitting that faced the front of the car (1st Gen RX7). Nice, solid 90 degree bend that directed air perpendicular to the rotor. Looked like it would save me from stuffing extra hose in there that always seems to get in the way. The only problem now is that I can't remember where I saw it.

Anybody seen and used this one?

mazdaspeed sold a great one, but they were pretty pricey.

ISC might have something as well...

If you can weld, you can make your own. The first side took me about 2 hours to figure out. 2nd side was under 45 minutes.

Stick with under 3" ducts and you'll have plenty of room.

And make sure to buy the real stuff for your hoses -- don't skimp and buy the metallic dryer hose at Home Depot.
