As mentioned in previous post, while going through the brakes, the front brake pads were bad and were replaced by some new pads from the previous owners spares.
Are there any Hawk or PF pads that are made for the 1985 RX-7? I have looked and can't seem to find front brake pads that aren't stock. PF and hawk make rear pads for this year, can't find replacement fronts.
Thanks,

Johhny, on my 85 RX-7 ITA/7 car I use Hawk blue on the front & rear. Many people use Hawk black on the rear. Black is not as aggressive on the rotors as blue is. Black has zero effect on my rear rotors, but then I don't ram it in 10 yards to DEEP at every corner. Front & rear all blues last year were $181.00 with shiping.

Hasport Racin Phoenix 1-480-517-1161 ( This is a Honda resale shop) Ask for Ron or Keith as in Father & son.

Ditto on the Hawks (blue and black), and from Mazda as well.

I've been buying my Hawks from Raceshopper.com They used to be a site sponsor here... Best price I could find and good guys to boot.

I'm thinking of changing over to Performance Friction Panthers based on what I've heard from others using them.

I think the last set I bought was in the high 70's for front blues. I looked last night since I installed my last new set for the spring and they are $86 list. Mazda has a 10% off going on now for all comp parts. Shipping to AZ isn't much.
