I found a car with goodies - parts that I think can be used towards an IT-legal car.

Among other things, the car has Koni adjustables and a Racing Beat front bar. Can anyone suggest what springs/spring rates and rear bar to use? Also, where's a good place to get these parts from?

Can the 1st generation Miatas' ECUs be modified or chipped at all?

Do the cone-type intakes work well on these cars, or should one just stick to a K&N and swiss-cheese the airbox?

What are the widest tires the Miatas can run on an ITA-legal wheel (15x7)? Since they're less expensive, should I stick with a 14x7 wheel instead?

Lastly, what alignment settings should one go with?

I'd appreciate any advice you folks can offer. Thanks in advance!

For the record, Bowie and Mike V. have two of the best developed cars in the country. I am still in the R&D phase. With enough power, the car can compete.

I don't know if he checks here anymore, but Todd Reynolds was VERY fast in his Miata down here. He sold his car a while back-it went somewhere way up north IIRC.

Anybody have Todd's new phone number in Nashville?
