Well, I finally found the bend in the RF strut on my race car. Also, when I pulled everything down I found out that I have blown the front shock too. Hey, I put the shocks on in 1996. I think it happened when the tire blew out in turn one at St. Louis a couple weeks ago. Things just don't last, do they? http://Forum.ImprovedTouring.com/it/smile.gif

Anyway, I have been using Tokico Illuminas all the way around. Since I need to replace the front shocks I will probably replace all 4. I am now using 400 lb. front springs. I understand this is right at the limit the Tokicos can handle.

I know some are using Bilsteins and Mazdacomp shows a Bilstein front shock. I have heard varying stories about the Ground Control Advance shock at $400 each plus another $400 to get the struts modified.

Also, do any of y'all use bump stops on your shocks?

I would appreciate any and all help regarding shock choices for IT-7.

Thanks and

Drive well.
