View Full Version : 1980 Front Bumper/Air Dam

Just getting the car ready and I have heard that the 79/80 front and rear bumper are much heavier than the 81-85. So with that being said will the 81+ bolt up with no problems? Also if the swap is possible who sells a good
"racing" air dam. Thanks for the help!

79/80 bumpers are tanks compared to the later models and I believe 84/5 is the lightest. The later bumpers should bolt right on. If there are any problems, they're pretty minimal.

ISC makes a very nice fiberglass airdam, unless you tend to end up in the dirt alot. Search a couple of months back in this section and there should be a topic about airdams.
