hello again everyone . i was also in the market for a flexible front airdam . actually 2 ,one is for my brothers 1st gen .
i had a polyeurothane spoiler a few years ago but sold it witha car . i currntly have a fiberglass front spoiler but i know that sooner or later it will not be in 1 piece.
does anyone have a used flexible spoiler or know of a reputable company that sell them .

If I lived in Florida, I would buy an airdam from ISC Racing Services. Mike is very helpful and I have bought several parts from them with great service. I think a new one from them is around $185. I attempted to buy one of their airdams, but the shipping costs to Pennsylvania were unbelievable due to its size and UPS guidelines. You may want to either travel to Winter Haven or meet them at the track if the shipping costs are high.

I think it's less than $185, and the shipping is less if it goes to a business.

does anyone have pictures of the actual spoiler on their car? just wondering how well it looks and how low it hangs .

I think shipping for ours was around $75 to a local business.

If i'm not mistaken the ISC one is made of fiberglass, there's another thread on this subject in here i believ its titled "what air dam is this?"

Yeah, I'm confused too. Seems to me we are confusing the flexible ones and the fiberglasss ones. I REALLY don't want a fiberglass one. Some of the guys up here started using them this season, and they all got broken up within 2 weekends. They did all agree that while they were still in one piece, they all ran cooler temps, which is my goal.

I would like to get a flexible one, but have no idea where to get one. Any ideas...

i definetly must agree with brooke on the temperature , i had one long ago on a highly modified 4 port motor and with that flexible air dam i never saw high temperatures .and the fact that it was flexible allowed me to be forgiven over and over from runnin over those elevated slabs of cement in parking spots or everything else i ever hit when i owned my old 7 . my new rx7 on the other hand has a fiberglass airdam and im to scared to even drive for fear of runnin something over and making it into little pieces.ill gladly trade with someone who has a polyeurathane one.lol

I put the ISC air dam on after I exploded my fiberglass one running over the rumble strips out of the hair pin at Sebring. I don't know exactly what the ISC one is made of but it definitely isn't fiberglass. Seems like some sought of plastic. I know this Mikes air dam is a lot more sturdy than the one I previously had. Call Mike, as stated he is really helpful and won't steer you wrong.

Having trimmed the ISC airdam... it is most definitely fiberglass. It's also very well made.
