Anyone racing with a 2nd Gen (93-97) MX6

My daily driver is a 97 MX6 LS which I also autocross. I buy wrecked 2nd Gen MX6's, fix and sell them so I have plenty of parts/parts cars. Just wondering if anyone else is racing one and if so are you happy with it? Anyone raced against a MX6, what were your impressions? I've pretty much decided I'm going to buy one and prep it to race in ITS club racing hopefully next year but just wondering if anyone has any opinions on this car.

A guy by the name of Joe Nunner runs one at Waterford Hills.He is moderately successful(always finishes in the top half of 10 to 14 car fields).In fact I think he has it for sale right now. He owns Metro Mazda in Ferndale, Mi.(suburb of Detroit) on Woodward Ave. I'm sure you can get a hold of him there. ,
