just put a set of Magnaflow straight thru 6" round Mufflers ($70 ea) on my 1st gen. I ran two 2 1/2" pipes from my racebeat headers under my rear end to one muff on either side of my fuel cell, sounds quite nice, dyno this week will tell any gains over a single 2 1/2" system.
