I recently purchased this car.
1983 RX 7
-Limited Slip
-Frt/Rr 5-Way adj. Tokico Shock/Struts
-Eibach Sports Springs
-Suspension Techniques Matched Sway bars
-Autopower 4pt Roll bar
-Corbeau Drivers seat
-Scroth 4pt Driver & Passenger
-Interior has mostly been removed.
-No AC

Where does it fit in Autocross Classification? How far off is it from Spec RX7 rules...I bought it to run PCA and SCCA Solo ...but would love to go to more competitive racing in the future. Sorry to be so un-informed but I got a great deal and love the rotary! Any help would be appreciated

From the looks of it, you will need to add on to the roll bar to make it a full 6pt roll cage and get a 5 pt harness. Then you can run ITA or IT7. In autocross, you will probably end up in CSP.(Not 100% sure. Haven't been there in a while)

CSP was what I was told by several people recently when I asked where in Solo II an ITA RX-7 would be classed.

Thanks...but the door panels and interior plastic is gone....do I need to replace it to run IT7?

Anybody know if Spec RX 7 racing is alive in Texas?
