2nd Gen Tire Pressure

I'm sure that this has been answered before, but what are people running for cold pressures, front and rear, running the 225 Hoosiers on a 2nd gen RX7?

It would be a dis-service to you to answer without knowing camber, caster, spring rates and shock valving.

I realize that other factors play into the equation.

So, Andy, what camber, caster, spring rates, shock valving, and tire pressures are you using?

We have a few cars on the team but Nick's was developed to it's current state:

650lb F 375 lb R
Camber is track specific
Valving is custom for 'up to' 700lb rates

My car should look like a typical ITS RX7:
500lb F 325lb R
Stock Koni valving (max spring rate for this
valving)

Our Hoosier pressures were in the 36 degree cold. This showed us the best pyrometer readings at our tracks. We now run the GoodYears.

Andy is right. Tire temps tell the tale. I run a softer spring/shock setup and my pressures for Hoo Hoo's are a bit lower than what Andy runs.
