On a 1st gen RX7 (Spec-7) 3.9 to 1 LS rearend have you ever had the bolts come lose. This rearend has been in the car for 16 races since it was last apart. No noises, no vibration, I just viewed a small leak & did a check.

Hey David. The answer is yes. I've seen this on three seperate occasions, once to the point where I got a drenching of Gear oil on the windshield from the car in front of me. Use some loctite on the bolts the next time you reassemble the rear.

I have only had that happen to me one time. The only bad thing about it is that I know mine had help. I have even had my transmission drain plug mysteriously come loose. So now I make a full check of my car before each run. You can never be to sure or safe.
