First question is on rear suspension travel limiters. I don't have anything currently installed but have noticed there is a bunch of droop when you jack the car. Never have understood travel limiting. What does it do and how do you calculate what you need?

Two, I have the Suspension Technique front sway bar. It's two position adjustable. Which adjustment does what?

BTW, I just bought the book How To Make Your Car Handle to help me answer these questions. Gotta say it is about the worst written book. There's some good info but it just glances from subject to subject with no real ryhme or reason. The answers might be in there but I haven't found 'em yet. http://Forums.ImprovedTouring.com/it/smile.gif Thanks!

Sorry cant help much since I am still building my ITS RX7 and havent reached the suspension yet. If your running the coil over setup, cant you use the tender springs to keep tension when you jack the car up. I think mazdamotorsports sells them.

I think your car would handle better if you would just take the wheels off of it. http://Forums.ImprovedTouring.com/it/smile.gif

The only reason I can think of to limit droop in an IRS car, is to keep the shocks from topping out when the car is jacked up. Some of the 1st gen guys use them to keep the live axle from hitting the exhaust when they run it under the axle.

The hole closest to the control arm is the softer setting and vice versa. The further away you mount the link from the bar itself, the longer the leverage arm is and the softer the bar rate becomes. Remember "short is stiffer". Okay guys, no comments needed!! http://Forums.ImprovedTouring.com/it/smile.gif

Welcome to the Forums! You will come to realize that when someone writes "shorter is stiffer", that is an open invitation to ALL SORTS or unrelated comments (some may even be dirty!). http://Forums.ImprovedTouring.com/it/biggrin.gif

Hey Chris, still unsure of whether or not I can make it 4th weekend. Looks like motor swap date is pretty firm. But if Pat can't, I'll probably just skip out on it and come up, I think I'm the worst crew cheif ever....I've only made 1 weekend http://Forums.ImprovedTouring.com/it/frown.gif.

Anyway, I'm having a cookout for the 4th, you should come by.
