Well after 4 double Regionals and one week end at Laguna Seca, the car has'nt finished less than second, except for Seca where sound control put a damper on my week end, I should of known better. These 2nd gen. ITS cars are incredible, every track I run seems to be like learning it all over again in this car, do to great brakes and excellent handling, WOW. No major broblems to speak of other than these things get enormously hot inside to drive, coupled w/the fact I race race in a hot region (Southern Pacific AKA Az. Ca. Nev.)but it's half my fault for not finishing the cooling syst. And now for my quest for a 4:88 rear gear, does any one know of a ring and pinion already made for our cars or do you have to get the one from Mazda and have it lengthened to fit ?? And while we're on the subject does any one out there in IT land have a new or semi new one they need to unload ? Thanks, Rick

I've been looking for one too. I know you can get the gear from Mazda Comp but it's for a 1st Gen so you have to get it modified and welded. From what I hear it's really hard to do and you need someone thats really good at welding.
