Brake Ducts

For those of you with brake ducts what size hose do you have, 2.5" or 3"? I would like to use 3" hose coming from the molded inlets on either side of the bumper but it appears that the wheels may rub against it during turns.

I hear you don't need much brakes on those cars but, http://Forum.ImprovedTouring.com/it/smile.gif but in any case, the 2.5 hose should be plenty enough. Check out SBMS for his brake duct scoops and hub attachments.

There's hardly enough room for the 2.5" hose behind my CRX's tires, let alone 3". I'm currently running 3" inlets in the bumper with an adapter to 2.5". The 2.5" connects to Tom's (SBMS's) hub attachments and the whole system works great.

Same here....Ran the hose through the outewr cutouts in the core support (inside the frame rail), so that I didn't have to drop the inlets and hose sooo low as to rish ripping them apart every week and to minimize bends (air doesn't like flowing through 90deg turns).

I too am using 2.5" hose w/ Mssr. Blaney's ducts. So far I've got four races on them w/ nary a scuff to the hose, let alone a rip.
