Hello,

I've got a 1998 Integra LS that I autocross and I have a KAAZ LSD unit for it that I have yet to install. Has anyone here ever installed one on a Honda/Acura before, and if so, what kind of transmission fluid did you use in that case? I keep reading that you should not use anything but Honda MTF (similiar to motor oil) in the transmission but KAAZ strictly recomends using nothing but 80W90 GL5 gear oil. I have also read that you should not use gear oils like that in a Honda transmission. To make matters worse, Sport Compact Car reported great results from using Red Line Differential Friction Modifier and Break-In Additive in their 350-Z project. This is supposed to reduce noise and chattering. When I asked KAAZ about it, they said that they do not recommend using synthetics in their diferentials because it leaves a film on the clutch plates that causes more noise and chattering. I'm completely confused...please help!

Thanks,
