SCCA IT rules only let us adjust cam timing at the crank. So, what we have to do is determine the needed adjustment with adjustable cam gears and transfer that number to crank degrees put the stock cam sprockets back on and make the adjustment with the crank sprocket. In my case I need about 2 degrees advance which is .030 at the crank.

Problem is the keyway is cast into the crank sprocket so there is no way to take it out and insert an offset keyway. Does anywone know how to remedy this or does anyone make an aftermarket crank sprocket that is adjustable for the B18C1 motor?
