How do you make 225s fit? We get tire rub now with 205s! They rub on the inside and on the fenders. http://Forums.ImprovedTouring.com/it/confused.gif

You'll have to experiment with wheel offset or spacers for the "inside rub"; as for the fenders, carefully "flatten" the lips.

Cheers.

Hell Mike, Blackhawk is smooth enough now with the new pavement, you don't need any suspension travel. Just slip pieces of pipe over the shocks in place of the front springs and let'er rip http://Forums.ImprovedTouring.com/it/smile.gif I'm sure Tony can deal with it.........

Okay - another question....can you achieve proper outside fender clearance with the 225s using a 5" backspace (7" rim)?? The car in question is a 91 CRX....

On my 94 gsr=== On the rear you half to space it out one quarter inch and flaten the wheel opening lip. The tire will occasionally rub a very small amount on the inside on the control arm that goes toward the front of the car. I race mine in road racing and it is no big deal

On the front no spacers needed and the only small rubing on tight turns on frame rail. and My car is lowered about 2 inches.
