Does anyone know if anyone makes SCCA legal window replacements for Acura integra 95? The new RS class allows them.

I'm not familiar w/ RS class rules, but for other series we have had great success w/ the Flex-A-Light (FAL) Flexan windows. they make a full kit for the dc2 teg...I think they are at www.flex-a-light.com (http://www.flex-a-light.com) and summit racing has good pricing on them.

Dave, I have seen the flexilite page but the guy at the Company didnt think his windows were SCCA legal. Does anyone have the answer to this for sure?

RS class is for touring cars that have slightly more prep than ITS. The big deal for me is I can shed 340lbs of weight and that ought to really help my GSR, thus the inquiry about the windows. light weight flywheels, lowered cars and bigger brakes allowed also.

if you can post the rule that governs this issue we can be of more help. This is an IT forum, so most of us do not know the rules for other classes well enough to accurately comment.

I have used these in SCCA Pro touring classes, if that helps at all http://Forums.ImprovedTouring.com/it/wink.gif

also...no need to quote previous posts in your replies, it just takes up more space.

The rule is what ever is in the GCR. Several classes of SCCA allow plastic window replacement but I dont have my Gcr and I dont think the 2003 ones are available. The two materials that I have heard about but not confirmed the legality of are Lexan and Flexite.

I believe the RS rule for this is based on GT regs which allow any clear uncolored polycarbonate material as long as it is .125" thick or more. This would include trypical lexan and FAL's "flexan" derivative which is more scratch resistant and won't discolor from heat and UV exposure. I know their race kits are .125", but double check on the formed kit...its what you will want as its just the 3 rear windows and is preformed for factory style fit.
