I just pruchased my first set of new tires and rims for my 90 CRX. (14x7 Panasports and 225/50 Hoosiers). After a little fender rolling and many band aids later, I find that I do not have an idea of what to start out at on tire pressure. I need to heat cycle them and do not want to waste them on the first set of laps. I have 2-1/4 camber, 4 deg caster, and 1/16 toe out. I'm heat cycling at IRP this weekend. (fairly straight, bumpy, no hard braking track). Any suggestions?

Thanks
Duncan

How did you "legally" fit thos 225 in the rear? I have the same tires on the same wheels given to me with the wheels, Im not gonna bother to race with them, but probably do test days with them since I need to wear them down. But im concerned with rubbing in the rear. It just barely fits in the front with a little coaxing ans very slight rub to the suspension on the inside.

I pinched the metal as thin as I could and used a little camber to make it legal viewing from the top.

To answer your question tho, what I can say to start out with with 205/14 tires is start off at 33 cold all around and hope to get around 36-38 hot. Fine tune from there.

I used to run 14x7 front and 14x6 rear with 225 Hoosier and start at 37front and 35rear cold temp. You can not run 225 on 14x7 in the rear unless your rear fenders has been fixed !!!!
