Have a F Production Civic, but tune alot of IT cars. Progress has some bitchin' spherical bearing assemblies for 2nd gen Civic/CRX lower control arms, front and rear. IT legal, and they use teflon lined bearings. Definitely better than the urethane bushings I had. The fast guys on the west coast are running them in their ITA CRX's. They also are working on the strut rod bearing conversions - they say about 3 more weeks for those.

The big questions, then, are;

How do they attach to the control arms? Are they press fit?

HOW MUCH? I'd call them, but it's Good Friday (Aren't they all?!).

I called them, not 3 minutes ago....

The bearings do sound good, and they are going to have an ad in Grassroots motorsport offering the "complete kit", front lower inner, rear lower inner and outer, and strut rod bearings, for $649.00. OUCH.

I guess if you've got the cash, then they'd be worth it, but I'm gonna stick with the PolyU option for the time being.

BTW, if you wanted to buy just one pair of the bearings, they are 179.00 for either the front or rear or strut rods.

Is all this a sure fire way to shave off seconds a lap? I wonder.....
