Anyone else going to race with this group?

Seems to be a good program. They have 5 race weekends located in the East with a Sat. and Sun. race .... 10 races in all.

Thoughts?

I am looking at it seriously. I don't know about Lowes, but the rest look like fun.

Are you guys going to introduce this out here in the West?

If you do, maybe I can slogg it out in a 91 Civic DX in ITA until I can get a Type R or GSR Motor and enter this group.

I'm definitely planning on running the ECHC - my first-gen Integra looks like it may be a pretty competitive car in H5, at least a little better matched than running ITA only. I'm planning on running all of them if I can, just depends on how the money holds out!

See ya'll there

This sounds great!! Good work for the founders. A West coast series would be great also.

Hi all ...

For those of you who are planning to come out for some fo the Honda Challenge races, please send in a permanent number request. That way you won't have to whip out the racers tape and we have some idea of who all is planning to show up.

Also, if you would like to be added to the "Driver Bio" section, please send your info and picture to [email protected]. Thanks!

First of all, it's cool to see that word is spreading, thanks for the interest and the kind words.

Tom: I haven't driven it, but I've heard Lowes is actually a hoot with the infield road course. Plus, one of the races is scheduled to be a night race...which will be a neat experience.

NoRaceCarYet: We're not planning to do a west coast series yet. We're plenty busy trying to get the East Coast one off the ground. Who knows - maybe next year National will want to develop the idea further.

RFloyd: We tried real hard to make the rules as fair as we could (which as the keeper of the rulebook, let me tell you...that's not always easy!). One of the goals was to give the cars "orphaned" by SCCA classing a place to play.

greg: Thanks http://Forums.ImprovedTouring.com/it/wink.gif It's been more work than we realized it would be, but it's coming together nicely.

To all: Feel free to ask the organizers whatever questions you've got. [email protected] goes to most of us, and the Honda Challenge website has a link to our bulletin board as well. If anyone has rules questions, you can also send them directly to me at [email protected].
