Like the subject say's, where can I buy 12x1.5mm ball seat lug nuts? I've tried all the likly places I know of and they either don't carry them or they are out of stock. I need some soon for my IT car.

As long as I'm asking, are all ball seats the same? (I think I already know the answer) I mean when I'm looking for lug bolts/nuts I see Mercedes, Honda, Fuchs, VW lugs all being called ball seats. Can I use any/all of these?

Cheers,

Llyn

If you are looking for lug nuts and studs, check the sponsor at the top of the screen. I bought mine from them

Bildon (http://www.bildon.com/catalog/results.cfm?category=Suspension&SubCategory=Wheel%20Studs/Nuts&Nav=10)

I don't KNOW for sure but I tested the mating surface of an OE Honda nut on my OE VW alloys, and they only contact in a circle about 1/16" thick.

My Bildon nuts appear to seat over a much broader surface.

Yes, I already talked to Bildon and they are out of stock of both their brand of lug nuts and the VWR ones.

I checked with ECStuning and they only stock the H&R 14mm ball seat nuts.

Is there anyone else that normally stocks 12mm lug nuts?

Thanks,

Llyn

Honda nuts are not the same radius.

BSI has nice ones w/19mm-3/4" hex.

For VW you want 12mmx1.5 with a 17mm wrench hex.

Make sure you check whether the bearing surface radius on the wheels matches the wheel nut radius. For VW wheels this is 25.6mm. Failure to have nuts seat fully with wheels will gaul mating surface, may loosen and can result in wheel and/or stud failure.
