Golf 3 initial victory and a big one!

This is a bit belated...

2 weeks ago, IT.com regular contributor Kirk Knestis put together a pretty impressive showing at the 13 hour enduro on VIR's long course to take an ITB victory for his team and their VW Golf III.

We at Bildon Motorsport would like to congratulate Scott Giles, Greg Amy, Evan Webb and car builder/owner Kirk Knestis on this excellent effort!

We'd also like to note that this appears to be the inaugural SCCA victory for the Golf 3 in ITB!

How about we call it the initial Enduro victory, because Chris' car has been on the track since Aug 21/22, when it won it's first two races.

Sorry Kirk; not trying to steal your thunder. I give you a lot of credit for doing an endurance race in it; ours is slated for the ARRC enduro; lets hope it lasts that long.
