Hawk pads in Chicago

Hi,
I need some Hawk Blue pads (HB189E .550) right away -- are there any parts stores in Chicago to find them? are there any good VW performance parts places in Chicago?

You can mailorder them from http://cobaltfriction.com/ and probably get them as cheaply and quickly as if you try to track them down locally.

OG Racing also stocks Hawk Blues. They don't have online ordering for brake pads yet but you can call 1.800.934.9112 and have them shipped that same day.

There is no one that sells them in town, try Pegasus in New Berlin. You need them for the BHF double this weekend?? They may be at the track selling parts.

Judging from the dates on this thread you were racing at Blackhawk last weekend. Were you running the blue Scirocco in ITB?

Just wanted to tell you that I had an awesome time racing with you in the #26 red Golf. The weekend turned out better than I hoped for or expected, and really has me excited about planning the next race weekend.

BTW - I don't know if they still carry them but I have purchased Hawk Blues from the Tire Rack in the past as well.

Thanks for your suggestions, yes I was racing at BHF last weekend and had a blast. Chris it was fun trying to chase you down!! I can't wait for the next race either, I think I am going to do the Road America double in August.

I ended up calling a well known vw racing parts supplier for the pads and paid to have next day, Saturday delivery to get them.. Fedex did deliver pads but they were the wrong part. Seeing now what the shop is going to do to make it right.
