Installing An Blow Off on 04 Jetta.. heard differnt storys..

I got an 04 jetta 1.8T.. i got a blow off value and a few people told me that putting that on my car may mess up my motor or something like that.. i have never heard anyone eles say that.. but i was just wondering..

Turbos aren't allowed in IT so you aren't going to find much of a knowledge base here, most likely.

A blow off valve is wrong for your car. You need a diverter valve. Same basic idea but it keeps the volume of air in the intake system constant so that "Mr. Bosch" doesn't have to go guessing.
