VW Moving Sale

Moving to smaller digs, and must off about half of my current fleet. Some have good race potential:

Are you getting out of racing all together??? You were a top ITB contender... missed as well. Hope you stay close and build another ITB car!!! Loosk like some good deals, what are the running conditions of the cars?

As for the cars, everything runs (or ran when last parked) except for the 97 Jetta and 96 GTI, which are both rollers. The 88 Scirocco and 87 GLI are "stock", while everything else is "improved" to some extent.

Nope, I'm not getting out of racing yet, if ever, and actually hope to make it back to Lime Rock soon. A few changes have me moving everything I can fit from spacious Connecticut to not so spacious Long Island. Thus, I just have to get rid of some of the "extra" cars (about 6 ought to do it).

Not sure why everyone is so scared to build the Audi's... Deffinatly if someone had money this is a great car for the class IMO. The Volvo's are a little faster than us, but they are much more developed.

Any clue to a price range for letters I and J? The yellow and red car was fast and certainly has potential in ITB.

Just out of curiosity (and without hijacking the VW thread), why aren't there any quattro versions of the Audis running in IT? I can't find a specific rule against them, but presumably there must be one to keep a hoard of awd 4000S cars from filling the grids?

On the VW side, Eric, could you give us some prices on the other cars that "might" be for sale?

I'd have to look it up, but I do believe there is something explicitly in the GCR about now 4WD vehicles (right there w/ no station wagons and no automatics).

How 'damaged' is that '87 GLI? I've got an '89 16v w/ a blown motor/beat trans. Got any pics of it? I'd really like to get rid of this '95 Golf 2.0 auto that I'm currently driving. I'd go for the Scirocco 16v, but I need a 4-dr. Call me on my cell 908 334 0155
