G grind cam

I have a cam with 049g on it. Is it a "G" grind cam? If not what markings should be on a itc legal "G" grind cam. Thanks for any help.

The only way to correctly verify a camshaft is by measuring the lift of the cam with a set of micrometers. Measure the height of the lob and the base diameter of the lob. Substract the diameter from the height and the result is the amount of lift. A "G" grind has 0.423 inches of lift. Regards, Ryan.
