Does anybody have any info other than what is on that web site regarding the rules? How about costs? How similar is it to IT?
Just when I started to race here, the military decided that I should spend the next 4 years in England.

Many more mods than IT.
More like WC Touring Cars.
Some of the VW Cup UK guys hang out with us at http://www.volkswagenRacer.com/Forums/

Ian Carvell is there now and then. He can answer your questions.

Hmm, so much for racing in a VW then when I get over there. Then again, I could just be a backmarker and get the track experience.

Dang, when I was in the military, I could hardly afford to eat, let alone race a car.

Where in England are you going? I spent 3 years in East Anglia, @ Bentwaters / Woodbridge RAF, near Ipswitch. 1983-1986.

Watched some races @ Snetterton and Silverstone, but that was about it.

Good Luck

Thanks, both of my kids were born @ Lakenheath.

Silverstone is right in your new back yard.
