Theres got to be an aftermarket chip for a 91 digi somewhere.

Not sure if we were the first but I know we have one of the fastest Digi Golfs in the country. We have 2 now actually.
Anyway, we have answers:

Well I am sure it won't take someone long to gut the ecu box and mount the board(s) from a SDS type programmable engine management system. Probably will be the most expensive 5hp ever, but someone is sure to do it.
There are some 'chips' or reprogrammed digi boxes floating around. AMS used to offer this, and some others who's names I don't recall. I saw one for sale on Vortex about a week ago for $125.
I thought about the digi just from an airflow standpoint, but since I got my 86 gti for free, I figured I would start with a CIS-E car.
