looking for some input from you fine folks, getting ready to buy some rains for this season (first season) I know a lot of folks use the toyo's, but has anyone used full tread Kumho's for there rains?
price on these is very attractive.
Also anyone had any contact with Kumho to know if they are going to add any sizes to the new v700? doenst look like the rabit folks have a size available for these?
thanks in advance

Barry,
I can't speak to the new Kumhos, but I can tell you that full-depth Toyos make great intermediate to wet tires. But, nothing will work like the Hoosier Dirt Stockers on a truly wet track (except maybe the Hoosier Rains, if they ever get a DOT approval).

What is the actual name of the Dirt Stockers on the Hoosier site? I tried finding them there and can't find them. I did find the Road racing wets, but like you said are not DOT legal.

I run 185 Kumho V700 full tread (6/32") in the rain. Chased a fast Volvo with Toyos hard for 20 laps one rainy day last year and could keep on his butt pretty well.
re: the new Kumhos sizes. You get an upgrade to 225/50-14" Go chase the Hoosier boys now!

Thanks for the input, I was leaning towards the Kumho's so I amy stick with them at least this year
Bildon: we are ok running the 225/50/14's? most of the folks I talked to this year was pushing me towrds 205/55/14's, would really like to use the new Kumho's, heard some real good things about them
thanks

Ok, so that must mean everybody goes with 13's then since I don't see any 14's.
Thanks
