Now don't everyone go and try this...but not a bad idea...I think it could use some tweaking, but still very creative

(FYI, this is not my ad or anyone I am affiliated with, just was searching on ebay and came across it)

That's pretty funny. It will be interesting to watch it. I find it hard to believe that a business would ever go looking on eBay to sponsor a car, but I guess who knows.

It's going to end up being something dopey like, "Carol - will you marry me?"

As long as the money is green, I would take "Carol, will you marry me?"!!! Looks like he has at least one bidder.

The one bidder is an MR2 parts store on EBAY - so it will probably be a web address. Actually, not a bad idea (assumming he solicited some of his EBAY suppliers ...)

I understand that someone recently auctioned off their forehead for adverstising and the winning bid was $35000.00.

Seems like a good idea for a racecar too. That was my first thought after I heard about the forehead deal.

I hope the winning bidder was "DORK.com".....

Yeah, that guy is a friend of mine (the guy who is the auctioner on the MR2, that is). He's kind of, um, unique...
