...the 911SC (thru 1983) or carrera's (thru 1989) in IT in the forseeable future? I know they only recently classified the earlier 911s/t's...was there alot of opposition to these cars? If so...how did they get classified? The few I've seen are seriously outgunned by the 325's and 2nd gen RX7's...

I'd guess not. For instance, the 2.7 is hyper-expensive to build for an IT car, I'd think - and the 3.0, and up, motors are most likely a serious overdog.

I'd think it would be pretty unlikely, but you never know. If we do a class above ITS I think the Boxster would be a good fit.

BTW, we didn't classify the 911S at all. We classified the 911T and 911E.

Would the CRB at least print it in the FasTrack if I were to request that the McLaren F1 be classified in ITC?

For some reason, I'd just like to see it in print and know that they laughed their heads off about it!

Someone beat you to it. Not with the McLaren F1, but there was a request for the Porsche 928S4 for ITS....
